Sunny side up


count your blessings
one coin
at a time
the garbage truck's late today 
and the car's all out of gas

so you walk
and walk some more
carry all that on your back
and one 
by one
you drop them
leaving traces 
on the ground

remember never to walk this way again
today's happiness is 
two sunny side up eggs
